Kitili Mbathi

Kitili serves as the Managing Director at Hesabu. He previously worked with Standard bank for over 20 years in various capacities and currently serves as the Non-Executive Chairman of Stanbic Bank Kenya.

Kitili serves as an Advisor at Endeavor Kenya where he provides financial, strategic, and corporate governance guidance to Entrepreneurs whose companies are in a phase of rapid growth.

Nicolas Akiwumi

Nicolas is an Investment Director at Hesabu. Prior to joining Hesabu, Nicolas was a 2x startup founder in the sports and music industries.

He was also a co-founder of Perkera Advisory, a business development and transaction advisory for startups in East Africa. He holds a BA from Williams College, MA, USA and an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain.

Alex Mwai

Alex is an Investment Director at Hesabu. Prior to Hesabu, Alex worked with PowerGen Renewable Energy in the commercial development department and at PwC Deals Advisory where he worked on valuation, due diligence, and M&A services.

He co-founded Perkera Advisory, business development and transaction advisory for East African startups. Alex holds a BA from Durham University, UK, and an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain.
